about

(April 14, 2018)
"Look for the flower to bloom in the silence that follows the storm: not till then." So quotes Joan Suval early in her wonderfully engaging talk, which is about how silence can transform our lives. It can be challenging to understand why silence is so central to the teachings of the great mystics, especially for those of us caught up in the whirl of our daily lives. The kind of silence that Joan talks about is a form of deep surrender, when we’re willing to finally let go of the old storms and habits that keep us from tapping into our true vitality. This talk rings so true, and provides an inspiring road map. I highly recommend it. (Suzanne Miller)
